How We Source & Write
- Astrology — traditional Western framework. We use the tropical zodiac, 12 sun signs, four classical elements, three modalities (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable), and traditional planetary rulerships as systematized in Hellenistic and modern astrological literature.
- Numerology — Pythagorean system. Letters are mapped to numbers 1–9 in the Pythagorean grid. Birth dates are reduced to single digits or master numbers. Standard practice across reputable numerology references.
- Name data — public records & etymology. Popularity rankings come from US Social Security Administration data. Name etymology is cross-referenced against established sources including Behind the Name, Oxford English Dictionary, and historical name dictionaries.
- Daily horoscopes — third-party astrology API. Our daily readings are sourced from Ohmanda’s free public horoscope feed and refreshed every 24 hours UTC. Original commentary and styling are added by BuzzJolty.
- Moon phase data — astronomical. Calculated using the 29.53058867-day synodic month and standard Julian Day formulas. Accurate to within 6 hours for any date 1900–2099.
